I'm having some issues with constructing the lamp post. I've retried creating the lamp post 4 times following the exact steps that Simon has left but it keeps forming an oval shape?
Ah! I also ran into this problem! Basically the problem is you're using one of the scaling pivots to scale it horizontally (it's L shaped and you have box icons you can pull!). You'll want to use the box in the middle of the L shaped Pivot (it meets with the vertical and horizontal box points). that way it shouldn't make it oval and stay circular when you scale it down!
