@Alan Little Monster - Further edits




I have edited my animation further with Alan's help. In the video, there are a few frames where the character and scenery seem to change but this is because the stills are rendered while the rest of the film is still in post-viz.

    Cut - 2652 - 2740. (silence).

    Cut 2874 - 3183 (Cut this sitting pose shorter - your character is not doing anything). Cut it so that when you refer to insulin the needle comes in (or a close as you can get it too that).

    The 'desperate poses'. You have too many. One on the (screen) right of the dinosaur, one on the left. one half way closer to the screen, then the one where it starts to animate (this is the anim you have already). Less means more - Too many is a machine gun effect.

    The audio - You audio sounds very 'tinny' in this upload?

    Hi Alan,

    Is there anything that you could suggest to do about the sound seeming 'tinny'? I haven't changed the audio in any way but I can see what you mean about the change in sound quality

Film review: A Knight's Tale (2001) - A Hero's journey

During today's lecture we looked into depth on Joseph Campbell's monomyth theory on the 17 stages of 'A Hero's Journey' and how the stages are very evident in films such as Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) and The Matrix (1999). The theory has 3 acts which come together to form the 17 different stages in A Hero's Journey.  Below is a diagram to explain Campbell's theory: Figure 1.
