Premise - Further character design - Diabetes Monster and Me

Below are my sketches for my Diabetes monster after studying the Disney flour sack.





At the moment I believe that the monster character is quite expressionless so I am going to try to draw him with different expressions. Although above I have tried to draw the monster in different positions which could help express his mood, such as lethargic and angry.

After, I then decided to try drawing my character. I looked at three different images of me to see how differently I can look. I will continue to draw more of my character.

Film review: A Knight's Tale (2001) - A Hero's journey

During today's lecture we looked into depth on Joseph Campbell's monomyth theory on the 17 stages of 'A Hero's Journey' and how the stages are very evident in films such as Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) and The Matrix (1999). The theory has 3 acts which come together to form the 17 different stages in A Hero's Journey.  Below is a diagram to explain Campbell's theory: Figure 1.
